(Recruitment of Sub- Inspector (Executive) in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force)

• Vacancies: 452 ( 384 Males + 68 Females)
• Educational Qualification : Graduate from a recognized university (Note : Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational qualification are not eligible to apply)
• Candidates should apply only through the ONLINE mode, using any of the official websites of the RRBs listed in Para 14(f). For Thiruvananthapuram website is www.rrbthiruvananthapuram.gov.in
• During the ONLINE APPLICATION, candidates will be asked to Create an Account. If a candidate has already created an Account for earlier notifications published by RRBs during the year 2024, they should use same account credentials to log in and apply for this CEN as well
• Note : Candidates who submit more than one application against this CEN will be summarily rejected and will be debarred from all future examinations of RRB and Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC).

  • For all candidates except those mentioned below – 500/-
  • For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC).- 250/-
  • Only candidates who attend CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.
• Stages of exam: There shall be online Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CBT shall be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Document Verification (DV)
• Pattern of CBT
  • Computer Based Test (CBT): The standard of examination will be Graduation level.
  • (a) Pattern & Syllabus of CBT:
  • (i) Total Duration: 90 minutes & Total Questions: 120 [Arithmetic (35 marks), General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 marks), General Awareness (50 marks)]
  • (ii) Candidates shall be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted
  • (iii) There shall be negative marking @1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.

  • 1600 meters run
  • 800 meters run

  • High jump
