IBPS PO EXAM

Age Limit: 20-30

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

EXAM PATTERN

The exam for IBPS PO consists of three phases: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview Process

Preliminary Exam Pattern

Mains Exam

Consists of two stages – Objective Exam and Descriptive Exam

  • Objective Exam – consists of 4 sections for total 200 marks. Each section has separate timing.

  • Descriptive Test – consists of 2 questions with 50 marks. The test is of English language- Letter writing and Essay. The total time duration is 30 min.

Note:

  • Penalty (for both Prelims and Mains) – For each wrong answer attempted by the candidate, there will be a negative marking of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question.
  • There will be sectional cut off for Online Main examination. Also a minimum total score will have to be obtained to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.
  • Marks obtained in the online main examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and also for final merit listing

Interview Stage

The total marks allotted for the interview is 100. And the minimum qualifying mark of interview should not be less than 40%.

The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively.

The combined final score of candidates is arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination and Interview.

 

SBI PO EXAM

Age Limit: 21-30

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

Those who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally provided if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
