In General Awareness part, Current affairs found a lot of prominence in both the shifts. The pattern of asking 2-3 questions on the same topic was followed by SSC. For eg. There were 3 consecutive questions on Manu Bhaker.

The questions are based on memory. Distinction has not been made on the basis of shifts. Questions include all shifts on 05 Feb 2019.

In the English part synonyms and antonyms were mostly familiar words like deceive, familiar, pique, initial, concise, vanquish, shallow, etc

Idioms were also rather easy. Some being Once in a blue moon, Beating around the bush,etc

Idioms were asked from the comprehension passages as well.

As usual the pattern of English questions was like that of the previous question papers of the SSC Stenographer exam.
