RRB NTPC Syllabus 2022 | NTPC CBT 2 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

RRB NTPC CBT-2 Syllabus 2022: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is conducting RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam from 14th to 18th February 2022 for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) by the Railway Recruitment Board(RRBs). A total of around 35,277 vacancies have been announced this year. RRB NTPC CBT-2 Syllabus & Exam Pattern is as follows for RRB NTPC 2020-21 exam.

RRB NTPC Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2022

RRB NTPC 2022 Exam will be conducted in two tiers i.e. 1st tier(Prelims) and 2nd tier(Mains). The syllabus for RRB NTPC tier 1 and tier 2 are same but the exam pattern changes for tier 1 and tier 2. RRB NTPC exam will comprise of 3 segments i.e Mathematics (Arithmetic Ability), Reasoning & General Intelligence and General Awareness (General Science). The detailed RRB NTPC Syllabus is mentioned below:

RRB NTPC Syllabus for CBT I & CBT II (CBT1 & CBT2)

A total number of 100 questions will be asked in the Stage I exam of RRB NTPC. The Syllabus of the RRB NTPC CBT 1 and CBT 2 exam is given below. CBT The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to:

a) Mathematics Syllabus for RRB NTPC

Number System, Decimals, Fractions, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics etc.

b) General Intelligence and Reasoning Syllabus for RRB NTPC

Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement- Conclusion, Statement- Courses of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs etc.

c) General Awareness Syllabus for RRB NTPC

Current Events of National and International Importance (Current Affairs), Games and Sports, Art and Culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and Other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India,  GK etc.

RRB NTPC Syllabus for CBT 2 2022

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices similar to CBT 1 but the total number of 120 questions will be asked in the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam. The syllabus of the RRB NTPC exam is the same for CBT 1 & CBT 2 but the exam pattern (No. of questions & marks) is different from CBT 1.
